So today I have a SUPER exciting post to share with you.. at least for me anyway! Because it involves hair and nails, both of which I have never been extremely interested in. Don't get me wrong I love to paint my nails for a special occasion or a night out but I've never been that particularly fussed about colours, a few reds and some browns and that would do me! However I've been getting much more into nails recently, and today I purchased a beautiful bright blue which I am IN LOVE with!
So this is by Barry M and is in the colour Blueberry, it really is delightful! It actually reminded me that I have a lot more bright Barry M colours which I definately need to break out in the spring/summer! Bright pinks and corals and mint greens, fabulous virbant colours! I feel like even having just painted this colour on my nails today I am in a much better mood already, everytime I see them a smile spreads across my face :D
Onto haircare products.. So today I popped into my local tesco and thought I'd have a little nosey around the beauty isles. I wasn't even directing my search at haircare products, because as I said I never really use them! A shampoo and conditioner and I'm good to go. However, I picked up TWO!! First of all this John Freida Frizz Ease Secret Agent Perfecting Cream (wow that was a mouthful!) because I'd seen it kicking around youtube a few times and it looked good. Plus its exactly what I need to smooth down the frizz in my hair at the top of my crown. Also I have been wearing my hair much more natural recently (there WILL be a blog post on that soon) so I hope this is going to allow it to look slightly more styled whilst having no heat involved! Secondly I picked up a Herbal Essences Hydration Mark becaused gemsmaquillage raved about this in a blog post. As soon as I saw it on offer for £2 I was like HELLO!! The pictures of her shiny hair sold me on this product. A weekly mask that could potentially make my hair look fresh and healthy? Yes, please.
Anywaaaay... clearly I could go on for hours but I shall stop there. I will do full reviews on both of these products, with honest opinions, once I have tried them out for a couple of weeks. I really am super excited to do so!
