january favies.

Hello Everybody! :)
Today I am in a very positive mood. I don't know whether its the weather (haha!) because its a very pretty day in Scotland today, it feels almost spring like. Or whether it is because it is the 1st of February, a new month a new start, however I'm feeling fantastic and looking forward to the future! Life is grand.
So I'm going to share with you my January Favourites. These are all products I discovered by purchasing myself, or recieved as gifts at christmas and I am excited to share them with you!

So first of all we have some makeup Products. And yes it is The Naked Palette.. however I only received this at christmas as its a rather pricey item!! and have had so much fun experimenting with it over the month of January. In february I plan to attempt to get more use out of the darker shades in this palette when I go on nights out. Secondly I have my Revlon Grow Luscious mascara. It is amazing. There really is nothing else I can say. It does the job FANtastically, leaves my lashes full and long and holds them in place all day! The wand is perfect, thick and full, and I definately recommend picking this up IMEDIATELY. Finally my Elf Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF15 in Godess, it is an amazing find, a beautiful thick, highly pigmented gloss which doesn't budge for a good few hours and very affordable at just £1.50 from eyeslipsface.co.uk :).

These two brushes were my favourite in January. The Mac 129 is a fantastic, soft brush which is absolutely amazing for applying my blush! And the Elf complexion brush is one of the softest synthetic brushes I have EVER felt, it feels amazing sweeping powder all over the face and is only £3.50! Get it now ladies!

Here we have my 'Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish' which is a highly worthwhile product to pick up. It has given me a glow I have never seen on my face before, unbelievable. I will do a full review on this product in a months time as I wanted to give it a couple of months to work its magic, and it certainly is already!
Then next to it is my Ted Baker nailvarnish, it doesn't have a colour unfortunately and isn't redily available as it was in a christmas set but the colour is VERY similar to Barry M's mushroom which I have also, and is lovely! You can Purchase that nailpolish from Boots or Superdrug for about £4-£5.

Finally some DIY makeup brush holders that I created. Aren't they stunning!? Get creative girls and boys! I made mine out of a let over coffee jar and jam jar. I prefer the jam jar one however, because it had a wider top and fits all my brushes! The second one is great for holding tea lights though, and looks very stylish in my room!

Finally, a last favourite of mine this month is MY BLOG! :) I adore making these posts, taking a bit of time out of my day to sit down and post on all things beauty or just give a daily update on my life! I love that I can look back on this in say 10 years time and think 'That was how my life looked back when I was 19'. Pretty damn cool.

Have a fantastic Wednesday everyone, and first day of the new month.. heres to February being awesome!

Lots of love Sophie xoxo
