july beauty favourites

Hello lovelies!
Today's post is on this months beauty favourites which im super duper excited to share as they're all AWESOME :). First of all lets talk about the bourjois nail varnish remover that everyone has been talking about, there is a reason why, its amaazing! So quick and easy, and no cotton pads are required. This type of remover has been a long time coming. Just don't smell the bottle when you open it like silly me did as its super strong. Seriously though, pick this up if you can get your hands on it. Next to it is an NYC nail varnish in Lincoln Square Lavender which is from their new collection, it's a really different 'out there' colour and I was super happy that I managed to pick this up half price (that's what the new collection is retailing for at the minute). Then there is my Balance Me Intensive Lip Salve which I recieved free in glamour. It's an amazing product to put on in the evenings just before bed, and keeps the lips super soft and shiny. I actually luckily managed to get another one of these today which I was really chuffed about as they retail for £12!! Then my Benefit Corilista, what can I say, a beautiful summer blush that has not been off my cheeks. My Topshop Felt Tip Liner, ideal for lining the top line of my lid.. long lasting, easy to apply and a favourite this month! The vanilla body spray smells delicious and can be picked up from boots for £1.99! I've been using it most days this month. Then there is my John Frieda Volumising Mousse, which makes my hair silky soft and gives it an amazing boost. A must in my daily haircare routine. The mint green bag at the back is a favourite beauty idea from the month of July, I've been keeping it in my handbag with lots of little bits and bobs that I may need when I'm out and it's VERY handy.

That is all. I hope you enjoyed this post, please get your hands on some of these amazing products if you can. Love moii! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxo

my beauty wishlist

1. I've decided I want it and that I am going to get it, the Naked 2 palette. I love the Naked 1 so much I've decided its about time I gave this one a go! It is first on my list :)

2. This rosewater toning spritz from boots which is 100% organic, happy days! I have seen it doing the rounds on youtube/blogs and actually spotted it in boots the other day with a third off, therefore retailing for about £3.50 which is amazeee!

3. I NEED this shampoo in my life. At the minute I wash my hair everday purely because I have to for it to look in any sort of respectable condition. It. gets. so. greasy. I love the thought of this 'Sunday' shampoo which you use once or twice a week to keep your hair cleaner for longer! Hopefully when I get around to buying this it'll mean that I no longer have to wash the oils out of my hair every single day, 2nd day washing would be ideal.

4. I also NEED this Nail strengthener in my life. My nails are broken, chipped, brittle, cracked, dry... any word you can think of name it and they are! They need strengthening, to grow them longer so that I can have lovely nails like a proper lady :).

5. My korres lip butter makes an appearance again as I still haven't ordered it from Asos. Something I've wanted for ages, that one day I shall get. I hear so many good things about these.

6. Seche Vite Lasting Top Coat. I have also heard a lot of good things about this product, and as I would love my nail varnish to last a day or two longer I believe this is ideal! I'm going to order it shortly with OPI Nail Envy from amazon, and get my nails looking good and hopefully having them longer than they've ever been.

That concludes my wishlist, I hope you enjoyed my lovelies! Is there any beauty products top on your list at the moment that you think I should try? I cannot wait to film my monthly favourites video tomorrow, I'm really excited about all the beauty products I have to share :D

what i wore today

Today I wore my new jumper from Primark which I picked up for £8 last week. Its comfy, warm and very relaxed. I decided to go for a size 12 so that it was baggy and oversized which was exactly how I wanted it. For reference, they also had this jumper in several other colours so get to your local Primark ;). The playsuit peeking out is from Marks and Spencer and has been featured in my blog a few posts back if you'd like a closer look. Then I just had on some black tights, with my new look lace up boots. My bag, which is not featured was my grey slouchy bag from Zara with the Rose Gold hardwear, which you have no doubt all seen before anyway! It carried all my junk, from my camera, to my book and everything I purchased throughout the day. Finally, on my nails I wore Essie's 'Flawless' which is an absolutely stunning pink and my fave! I spent the day shopping in Edinburgh, with a friend. It was great to catch up and we had some food at frankie and bennys which was deelish. Pictures from the day will be added to my weekly photo post which goes up on Sunday.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, it will no doubt be better than mine anyway seen as I'm working both days booo :(

yesterdays nails

Yesterday I had a wedding reception in the evening and this is the nails that I opted for. Now the colour is not actually as blue as it appears, its a real turquoise green but I couldn't get that to pick up on the camera, sorryyy! Its Topshop's 'Pool Party' so if you're interested and have heard about it before, maybe google the colour and you might get to see a more realistic picture of how it actually looks! So it's a greeny turquoise, more green than blue looking tbh! And on my ring finger I put some of this Rimmel 'Rock Your Colour Glitter Topcoat' just to add some sparkle. I really like doing that at the minute, it just creates a subtle difference because to be honest I'm not a huge fan of painting my ring finger a different colour from my nails. I just feel like it always looks a big odd no matter how matched the colours are! So yeah, I love a good ramble and am pretty impressed I've managed to blabber on in this post for so long about the colour of my nails.. go me! I'm off for a relaxing bath, and I'm going to pamper myself a little with lush goodies so I might even do a little blog post on that. Relaxing Saturdays are the shizz. Love moii xxxxxxxxx

my asos order - topshop allegra dupe

So my Asos order arrived this morning, which was super quick. I placed it Tuesday evening after deciding on a splurge, cos why not that's what moneys for.. spending! But yeah, got to the checkout and there was delivery at about £4 that would get my package to me for the 20th, or there was free delivery that was supposed to get my package here by the 25th.. I chose the free delivery because why not get it free, I didn't need them pronto or anything. And they arrived today! So a little bit of advice, free delivery gets your items here just as quick :). This is the babies I recieved, my Asos 'Abbi Chelsea Boots' which cost £38 and are a perfect dupe for the famous 'Topshop Allegra'. Such a stunning shoe, very comfortable, good quality, true to size. They have a lovely platform and a sturdy heel. What more could I ask for. Just exactly what I wanted, and if anything better than I expected!
The final picture is my Gold 3 band rings which have been on my wishlist for a while, but I've just not been ordering from Asos! I knew I had to pick them up and they look fabby.

So yeah I know I'm gonna get my moneys worth on these beauties! Such a classic boot, that is perfect for the autumn. Chic, elegant, looks fantastic with jeans and I have no doubt will also look amazing with my Topshop Skater Skirt and black sheer tights. Link below, speak soon xo

my foundation repurchase - the 'Revlon Photoready'

Well my lovelies, here it is, my favourite foundation of the moment the 'Revlon Photoready'. I honestly cannot really put my finger on why I love this foundation so much, but all I know is I must considering this is about the fourth or fifth bottle I've bought and I am constantly repurchasing it. I love the way it applies easily, it has no funny smell (unlike revlon colourstay), it does not feel thick or cakey, and it really does have a natural looking glow when applied and powdered. It is a medium coverage, but is buildable to a full for those days where break outs are bad! I've heard of this product being comparable to the Makeup Forever HD Foundation, but whether thats true or a lot of nonsense I can't confirm or deny as that foundation is a product I have never tried. Onto what I think of the product.. the packaging first of all, sheek, small and compact enough to travel with and lets not forget the best part it comes with a pump! No more tipping product onto the back of your hand this bad boy can go straight on the brush in one easy pooof. As for the foundation itself the most amazing thing I've noticed about it is the length of time that it stays on. I work 10 hour shifts, and this can still be on at the end of the day. The oiliest bits of my face might be slightly less covered but my cheeks are still looking good, blusher sitting nicely on top. And the fact it lasts is proven on my makeup cloth in the evening.. Another fantastic thing about the product is the price. It retails for £12.99 which to me is very reasonable for what your getting. Even better at the minute it's on offer for £9.99 and with my advantage card I got a £2 voucher off any Revlon product so I got my repurchase for £7.99! Woweee, my favourite foundation for 2 thirds of the price. Seriously though, if your looking for a medium coverage, long lasting, reasonably priced foundation give this one a go you will not regret it! xo

P.s the colour selection kind of sucks, with only 8 to chose from. Also, the product does contain some shimmer but it is very very un-noticable!

today's outfit

Hello everyone. My post this evening is some outfit pictures from today. A casual outfit as my day was spent shopping and running some errands. I love these M&S jeans, so comfy and reasonably priced at £22.50.. they also come in 26 other colours which is pretty damn awesome! Check their website if your interested. My top is from Zara and is sexyyyy, not only is it a beaut but its flattering, it skims my wobbly bits without making me look like I'm even attempting to cover them up, fantastic. I am also weirdly obsessed with khaki green at the minute hmm. The knitted cardigan is super warm and that was proven today whilst doing some shopping, as times I felt like I was literally melting, it was oh so warm. I can't believe I actually left the house thinking I would be cold phfttt. My bag I got in the sale at Urban Outfitters for £20, I loveeeee it. And my creepers were ordered from amazon for £19.99. If your from the UK and want to purchase them I won't bother with the link because they are literally the first pair when 'creepers' is entered in the search bar.. As for makeup today I actually branched out and used a lid colour NOT from the naked palette wooow! Haha. I used Macs 'Woodwinked' and it really is gorg. You need to get your hands on it if you haven't already. Mind you I used the naked shades for the rest of my eye... My blush is Benefit's 'Corilista' and my lips are Loreal Rouge Caress in 'Tempting Lilac'. I hope you liked, love me xo

wishlight numero deux

These boots are sexy. That is why they are first in my list. Forget Saving, these bad boys are practical and beautiful and they will be mine. They are the Abbi Chelsea Boots from Asos for £35.

Second on my list because this bucket bag is to die for.. its from Asos and also comes in tan, however grey is more practical I reckon and could be paired with more outfits. I reckon I'll be buying this soon also, I wouldn't want it to dissapear out of my life as it's just what I wanted! (£35)

These gorgeous rings appear on my wishlist again as I still havn't bought anything from Asos to justify the delivery for them. I reckon I'll order my black boots soon and include these £8 beauties! They are also avaiable in rose gold and silver.
Korres Lip Butter in 'Guava'. Spotted this on Asos beauty and decided I'd heard so much about it and the packaging was so pretty that I needed it in my life really, thats why it's here...

Okay, so now this one is practical. My purse is battered and I am need of a new one. This studded one from Asos is a dream. It also has a wrist strap, which I cannot forget to mention is detachable. Like the boots, practical but gorgeous! It comes in black and lots of other lovely colours :)

Now this shampoo I need in my life because apparently it is fantastic at letting hair go unwashed for 2 -3 days and considering I have to wash mine everyday because of the greasiness I really would love to try this! When I'm feeling kind to myself and like splurging I'll get it, as its £15 with delivery on top of that, eeek!

So as you can see the majority of my second wishlist are from Asos, I have been totally OBSESSED recently. I love how there is such a variety of choice. From, beauty, to shoes, jewellery, cheap clothes or designer. Pretty much anything you wanted you could find on there. Get on over to Asos, go on, you know you want to ;)

Love meeeeeeee xo
